Jim Ditch was a founding father of the California Transit Training Consortium (CTTC) and his passion for training and education was unprecedented.
Each year, we play in the sun.
The Jim Ditch Classic, celebrating its 14th anniversary, brings together transit agency and industry professionals from all over Southern and Northern California for a day of fun and great golf. Over 110 golfers get together every year for a round of “best ball” style golf with lots of fun on the course, a great raffle, and everyone coming together for a great cause.

When is the Tournament?
The JimThe Jim Ditch Classic is held annually on the Tuesday immediately preceding the California Transit Association’s Annual Fall Conference & Expo. This tradition ensures that transit professionals, vendors, and public agency representatives from across California can kick off their week of networking and collaboration with a memorable day of golf, camaraderie, and support for workforce development in the transit industry.
