Empowering Transit Professionals to Lead the Charge Toward a Sustainable Future

Empowering Transit Prosfessionals to Lead

CTTC’s course catalog is organized into clear learning tracks, so individuals (and entire agencies) can quickly find the right training based on their role, experience level, and goals. Whether you’re building foundational knowledge, training new supervisors, or preparing your organization for emerging technologies like zero-emission fleets, our courses are structured to support progress from intro → intermediate → advanced.

How the Tracks Work:

Each course in the catalog is grouped into a track so you can follow a logical learning path:

  • Operations & Service Delivery: Focused on safe, consistent, and customer-ready service—ideal for frontline teams and supervisors.
  • Maintenance & Technical Skills: Built for technicians, facilities teams, and fleet support staff—covering core systems, diagnostics, and evolving vehicle technology.
  • Leadership, Management & Planning: Designed for supervisors, managers, and decision-makers—supporting stronger communication, performance, planning, and team leadership.
  • Safety, Compliance & Risk: Courses that support policy, safety standards, and incident prevention—helping agencies meet requirements and reduce operational risk.
  • Zero-Emission & Emerging Technology: Courses that help agencies prepare for and manage the transition to cleaner fleets—covering the practical considerations across operations, maintenance, and planning.

Many learners use one primary track, while others mix courses across multiple tracks based on their role (for example, a maintenance supervisor may take both Leadership and Technical courses).
